Teabox Bag- in collaboration with Zak Ziebell
The form factor was inspired by Japanese sagemono, or wooden hanging containers used to carry small objects. Color vinyl 3-D print. The bag conforms to the exact dimensions of a (now redesigned, but always iconic) Celestial Seasonings Sleepytime Teabox. I modeled the front into a pink trompe l’oeil cutaway, while Zak sculpted the back into a complex bas relief.

This imagery was inspired by the IQ Zoo, an animal training facility and tourist attraction in Arkansas in the 1950’s. The animals were trained only using positive reinforcement (no dunce caps).
